BIOS起動するがWin起動、はつまつぎ
PCケースを開けて現用MBに搭載のM.2 SSD 1TBやTVチューナーカード、アンプカードを外し SATAケーブル、フロントパネルUSBケーブル、そして最後にPWR Unitからのケーブルを外し Core i7のパッケージを開け、新しいMBもパッケージから取出し と、ここでMBの説明書を見るとCPUのクーラー取付にグリス（注射器型）の絵が描かれ パーツ入れた箱や現用Core i5やMBの箱をロフトから取り出してグリスが残ってないか・・・確認するが無し どうするか・・・、結局リテールクーラーにグリス付いていてそれで済ます 大きなタイムロス なんとか新MBにCore i7載せてクーラー取付け 以前のCore2Quadはその前のCeleronで買った静穏クーラーを流用、でも取付金具合わず別途アダプタ買ったりで面倒の極み その点、静穏でなくてもリテールクーラーは取付でゴタゴタすることもなく 現用Core i5のリテールクーラーも全然うるさく感じず、Celeron時代の大騒音からすれば許容可 DDR4メモリも2枚載せ替え、M.2 SSDはPCIアダプタなので同じく載せ STATやPW SW/Reset/LED/HDD LEDコネクタを挿し ここでコツは前回換装時にMB固定しケーブル挿し苦労したので今回は先に そしてMB固定後、PWR Unitケーブルを接続 ようやくPCケースにHDMIやLANなど最低限をつなげてPWR ON！ ？？？？ BIOS画面が出てるだけ ？？？？ なぜにWin上がらない 折角ログインユーザをローカルからMSアカウントにしたのに BootドライブがM.2 SSDになってない・・・様子で、次につづく
Boot partition of the existing M.2 SSD is not UEFI, and it's legacy on the BIOS mode after confirmed the Win Sys Information. So that, BIOS doesn't go ahead to read boot sector and Win cannot be started. Which or what setting should be changed to boot by legacy mode? Let me know.

Good day. Thank you for more info. Sorry for my delayed notice. I noticed youre using onboard graphics, unfortunately, as Intel has started to support UEFI only on recent platforms (Intel 400 series), the onboard graphics dont support CSM mode(Legacy Mode) anymore.
There will be 2 suggestions for you: 1. If it's possible to install new OS on your M.2 SSD, please reinstall your OS with UEFI mode. 2. You might need to install an additional graphics card, which supports CSM mode, to boot with CSM mode successfully.

I have changed boot mode as you stated : Setting>Advanced>BIOS from UEFI to CMS, but MB cannot work on CSM mode from the M.2 SSD with the following error message.
There is no VBIOS support detected in this card. 'BIOS CSM/UEFI Mode' settings in BIOS will be changed to 'UEFI'.
Of course, the M.2 SSD doesn't be EFI and old MB can boot from the M.2 SSD as legacy mode.

Thanks for contacting MSI technical support.
Regarding your concern, please try to boot to BIOS, press F7 key to enter Advanced Mode, go to Settings\Advanced\, then change "BIOS UEFI\CSM Mode" from [UEFI] to [CSM], press F10 to Save & Exit, on next boot you'll be on Legacy Mode.
